Innovation is defined in many ways. It could be a creation of a new device or a process resulting from study and experimentation. It could be a creation of something only in the mind. There are many problems one comes across in life. You may have wondered if there are any innovative ways to solve them and to make the world a better place to live.

You probably have many ideas. You must select the best one for submission after careful reflection and analysis. Then you must summarize your idea clearly and succinctly.

Creating the summary of your innovative idea is a five step process.

• Imagine
• Generate ideas in the area of the topics as given
• Accept or reject the idea by using your thinking process
• Out of the ideas choose the one which appeals best
• Analyze
• Is the idea feasible?
• Is the idea innovative?
• Will the idea lead to a change for the better?
• Develop
• Conceptualize the idea in a sequence you would like to communicate
• Frame the sequences in your mind
• Write
• Your idea needs to be communicated to a wider audience
• The idea should first give the current situation
• Now the idea should now be communicated as visualized
• The resulting change is now written down
• Remember the word limit is 250 words
• Review and Revise
• Read your summary as though you are looking at for the first time.
• Will someone understand your idea as visualized?
• Revise and clarify as needed.
